I want to cancel my plan immediately.
- Log into your Dashboard
- In the bottom left corner, click on your name (avatar) to expand your user settings
- Click on Notifications
- Scroll down to Account Security
- Click Close Account and follow the prompts on the screen
β¬οΈ Downgrade to Free Plan
I'm on a paid plan and want to downgrade to the free plan.
- Log into your Dashboard
- In the bottom left corner, click on your name (avatar) to expand your user settings
- Click on Billing
- Scroll down to Current Plan
- After the pricing plan page appears, click on Downgrade to Free and follow the prompts on the screen
β Cancelling a Monthly Paid Plan
Canceling your Sloane monthly plan is simpleβand there are no surprise charges
- π‘ When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period
- You won't be billed again, and you'll still have full access to your Sloane features until the next renewal date
- Example:If you cancel on June 15 and your billing cycle ends June 30, your plan will stay active until June 30. After that, it won't renew
- π You can restart your subscription anytime from your dashboard
β Cancelling an Annual Paid Plan
Canceling an annual plan works the same way as canceling a monthly β just on a longer timeline
- π‘ Your account remains active for the full 12-month period you already paid for
- Sloane doesn't issue partial refunds for unused time by default - once the year is up, your subscription won't renew
- Example:If you paid for a year on February 1 and cancel in June, your plan stays active through January 31 of the following year - after that, it ends
- π§ Tip: You can cancel early to avoid auto-renewal, and still enjoy your full year of access
β¬οΈ Downgrading From a Paid Plan to the Free Plan
Downgrading back to the free plan (Starter Plan) is a great way use Sloane for free without closing your account
- π‘ When you downgrade, your paid plan stays active until the end of your current billing period
- You won't be billed again, and you'll still have full access to your Sloane features until the end of your current billing period
- After your current billing period ends, you'll be on the free plan (Starter Plan)
- Example:If you downgrade on June 15 and your billing cycle ends June 30, your plan will stay active until June 30 - after that, you'll be on the free plan
- Keep in mind there're no refunds for downgrades
- π Just in case you change your mind, you can restart (upgrade) your subscription anytime from your dashboard
