Quick Setup Guide

Welcome to Sloane! Get your AI receptionist up and running in just 5 minutes with this quick start guide.


Step 1: Onboard your business

Visit hi-sloane.com/onboarding and begin onboarding your business.


Step 2: Choose an Onboarding Method

Select from one of three ways to onboard your business:


  1. Google Business Profile
    • Select Connect Google Business Profile
    • Enter your business name.
    • Auto-complete will find your business based on your location
    • Sloane will train on your Google Business Profile data

  2. Website
    • Select Connect Your Website
    • Enter the business's URL
    • Sloane will train on data published on your website

  3. Enter details directly
    • Select Connect Your Website
    • Below the URL box, select I don't have a website
    • Enter your business details in the form

Step 3: Watch Sloane train on your data

Sloane will train on data sourced from the method of Onboarding you used. The more detailed your data is, the more accurate Sloane can answer questions about your business. You can add more data later after you set up your account.


Step 4: Complete sign-up

Select from one of two ways to complete sign-up to create your free account:

  • Google OAuth
  • Email Verification

Step 5: Open Your Dashboard

Once you've successfully created your account, you'll be redirected to your new Sloane dashboard where you can begin personalizing your AI receptionist experience.


Step 6: Add training data (optional)

From the Dashboard, click the settings icon in the top right (it looks like a gear). This will open the Settings pane where you can add more training data like Knowledge Base articles, FAQ data, and other business information to make Sloane smarter about your business.
