How to Turn On Call Transferring

If you are on a paid plan and want to enable automated call transfers, follow these steps below.

Steps to Turn Call Transferring On

  1. Log into your Dashboard
  2. Navigate to My AI in the sidebar
  3. Click on Transfer Calls
  4. Toggle on the button in the Enable Call Transfers section
  5. In the Transfer Recipient section, enter your name or the name of the person you wish Sloane to transfer calls to
  6. Also in the Transfer Recipient section, enter your phone number or the phone number of the person you wish Sloane to transfer calls to
  7. In the Transfer Schedule section, specify the days and hours that the transfer recipient is available to receive calls that Sloane transfers
  8. In the Transfer Preferences section, customize preferences that invovle how Sloane contacts the transfer recipietn such as how many rings Sloane should wait for when attempting a transfer
  9. In the Transfer Keywords section, specify any keywords you think Sloane should listen for when trying to understand what your customers most commonly say when asking to speak to a human or someone with a specific

What Happens Next

Once updated:

  • Upon a caller's request, Sloane will immediately start transferring calls to the transfer recipient within the permitted days and hours
  • You will have peace of mind that a customer will be satisfied because their request so speak to a human is been granted
  • You can weed out customers merely looking for straight forward info (e.g. hours of operation) from high value customers with inquiries that could potentially lead to sales

Tips

  • Keep your keywords prioritized with the most common questions or phrases that might suggest intent to speak to a human
  • Test with a call after updating to ensure transfers run smoothly
