Customize Your Greeting

Make a great first impression with a personalized greeting that reflects your brand.

Default Greeting

By default, Sloane answers with: "Thank you for calling [Your Business Name]. This call is being recorded for quality purposes. How can I help you today?"

To view or customize Sloane's geeting:

  1. In your Dashboard, go to My AI
  2. Click on Greeting
  3. Here you can see your default greeting
  4. Type in the input box if you want to change your greeting
  5. Save your changes and test with a call

Greeting Best Practices

  • Keep it under 10 seconds
  • Include your business name
  • Many states like California require you to state that the call is being recorded at the beginning of the call
  • End with an open-ended question like "How can I help you?"

Example Greetings

Professional: "Good [morning/afternoon], thank you for calling Smith & Associates Law Firm. How may I direct your call?"

Friendly: "Hey there! Thanks for calling Pizza Palace. Are you looking to place an order or have a question?"
