How to Receive a Notification When a Form is Completed

Recieving a Notification When a Form is Completed
Get SMS or email notifications when a form is completed
π SMS Notifications
- Log into your Dashboard
- Click your name (or avatar) in the bottom left sidebar to expand your User Settings
- Click on Notifications
- Toggle on SMS Notifications
- Input a number capable of receiving SMS texts and press the β button to save
- Optional: press the +Add SMS Number button to add additional SMS number(s)
- Then, scroll down below Notification Events and enable Form Submissions
When enabled, you\'ll receive SMS notifications when a caller completes a form.
π§ Email Notifications
- Log into your Dashboard
- Click your name (or avatar) in the bottom left sidebar to expand your User Settings
- Click on Notifications
- Toggle on Email Notifications
- Input an email address and press the β button to save
- Optional: press the +Add Email button to add additional email address(es)
- Then, scroll down below Notification Events and enable Form Submissions
When enabled, you\'ll receive email notifications when a caller completes a form.
π¬ How to Configure Form Link Triggers
- Click Expand Form Link Trigger Settings
- Enter your keywords in the Caller Keywords box:
- Separate each keyword with a comma
- Include related keywords (e.g., βpriceβ, βpricingβ, βcostβ)
- Suggested related keywords may auto-populate as you type
- Use the Keyword Sensitivity dropdown to set how strictly Sloane should interpret your keyword rules
β° How to Add Questions to Your Form
- Click Expand Questions
- Click Add Form Question
- Enter the the first question in the Question input box
- Under Answer Format, select the format of the expected answer
- Under Input Type, select the input type for tge expected answer
- Under Placeholder Text, type the placeholder text you want to display in the form's input box
- Check the Required Field checkbox if you want the question to be non-optional (caller must answer before proceeding)
- In the Text Content box, type out exactly what you want your text message to say
- Callers will receive exactly what you write in the Text Content box, so it's important something that is clear and concise
- Click the green Save button to save the question
- Repeat this process for every additional question you wish to include in the form
π© How to See Your Published Form
- Click Expand Sharing & Testing
- Copy the URL and paste it in a web browser
- Sloane will send this URL to callers based on the keyword triggers you configured
π§ͺ How to Test Sending the Form Link
- Click Expand Sharing & Testing
- Enter your number (capable of receiving SMS texts) in the Send Test Text To input and click the Send Test Text button
