How to Forward Incoming Calls to Sloane for Nextiva Users

Unconditional Call Forwarding to Sloane with Nextiva

📲How to Forward All Incoming Calls to Sloane

Nextiva App (All Calls)

  1. Open the Nextiva mobile or desktop app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Tap Call Forwarding.
  5. Enable Always Forward.
  6. Enter your Sloane Number.
  7. Toggle off to disable.

Nextiva Admin Portal (All Calls)

  1. Log in to Nextiva Admin Portal at nextiva.com.
  2. Go to Users.
  3. Select the user/extension.
  4. Open Call Routing.
  5. Enable Call Forwarding Always.
  6. Enter your Sloane Number and save.
  7. Disable by turning the feature off.

Nextiva Desk Phone (All Calls)

  1. Press the Menu or Home button.
  2. Navigate to Features or Call Features.
  3. Select Call Forward.
  4. Enter your Sloane Number.
  5. Select Enable.
  6. To disable, return to Call Forward and select Disable.

Conditional Call Forwarding to Sloane

👨🏿‍💻Nextiva Does Not Support GSM Conditional Star Codes

Nextiva does not support mobile carrier star codes such as *61, *67, or *62.

Instead, you can simulate conditional forwarding using PBX routing features:

  • Call Forwarding Busy
  • Call Forwarding No Answer
  • Call Forwarding Not Reachable
  • Simultaneous Ring
  • Find Me / Follow Me

All of these can forward to your Sloane Number.

Common Mistakes

  • Forwarding rules may require admin-level access in Nextiva.
  • Desk phones sometimes need a reboot to apply new forwarding settings.
  • Star codes (*21, *61, etc.) will not work on Nextiva.
  • PBX routing overrides app settings — check the portal if forwarding behaves unexpectedly.
