📲 How to Manage Notification Events

Stay in the loop every time someone calls. With Notification Events, you can choose exactly what triggers a heads-up —- whether it's a new call, completed questionnaire, or something else.


How to Access Notifications Settings

  1. Log into your Dashboard
  2. Click your name (or avatar) in the bottom left sidebar to expand your User Settings
  3. Click on Notifications

How to Manage Notifications Events

Scroll down to Notification Events where you can enable or disable the following events:

  • All Calls - get notifications when your business receives an incoming call
  • Messages - get notifications when a caller leaves a message with Sloane
  • Monthly Limit Exceeded - get notifications when you're close to or have exceeded your plan's monthly minute limit
  • Hang-ups - get notifications when a caller hangs up right away
  • Booking Links - get notifications when Sloane sends a Booking Link to a caller
  • Call Transfers - get notifications when a caller is transferred to the transfer receipient on file for the business
  • Info Texts - get notifications when your business receives when Sloane sends an Info Text to a caller
  • Form Submissions - get notifications when a caller completes/submits a written form that Sloane had sent them
  • Questionnaire Completions - get notifications when a caller completes a verbal questionnaire that Sloane asks them
  • Urgent Matters - get notifications when a caller tells Sloane that their call is urgent
  • Spam Detection - get notifications when your business receives calls flagged as spam by Sloane

Configure whether you receive notifications by email, SMS or both

Turn On Email Notifications

  1. Toggle on Email Notifications in the Notifications tab
  2. Input an email address and press the ✅ button to save
  3. Press the +Add Email button to add additional email address(es)

Turn On SMS Notifications

  1. Toggle on SMS Notifications in the Notifications tab
  2. Input an number capable of receiving SMS texts and press the ✅ button to save
  3. Press the +Add SMS Number button to add additional SMS number(s)
